A mother of three grown humans, Mornington Peninsula-based Joanna is a part-time careers consultant who enjoys the beach, solving word puzzles and occasionally dancing like she’s still twenty-five.

Joanna’s background in writing spans several decades and includes editing, copywriting, and developing resources in the business and education sectors. Discovering a passion for creative writing, she now loves to write bookclub fiction that offers up a crime/mystery element and a twist or two, whilst deep-diving into characters’ inner lives.

Her debut novel, Lily Harford’s Last Request, was published in February 2022 by Harper Collins.
